After having worked with sugar paste making flowers and other crafts I was introduced to another medium called Artista soft.
This medium when dry feels like....silk, for want of a better description. Made from rice, potato flour and a touch of glue its almost unbreakable, making the flowers far more durable than sugar paste flowers.
Being more durable means they pack and travel more surely than sugar flowers do. Where sugar paste, when dry is very fragile this medium isn't but can be used for the same decorations. However it's important the flowers don't touch the cake icing.
Like sugar paste Artista Soft is NONE EDIBLE and has no TOXINS or RESINS added. It reacts to icing, making it tacky. As with sugar paste I always place my flower in a flower pick and if a bride's design require the flowers to sit on the cake I place them onto a small cake card or plinth......The Calla spray above is entirely made from Artista Soft and as you can see the colours are vibrant and lifelike.
I've made a few flowers here for you to see and buy. Like my sugar flowers they are hand crafted and again I can make any flower, in any colour shade, to complement your theme.
Being durable and very long lasting they can also make ideal gifts or wedding favours for your guests. These flowers will last forever!!
An ideal Mothers day gift or small celebration cake topper.
I hope you like the flowers here but if you can't see your favourite flower or would like it in another colour please email me I'll happily make them for you.
Normal delivery is 7-10 days after order has been placed but times may vary in busy season. A firm posting date will be given prior to ordering.
These flowers are sold in a presentation box so can be given as gifts as soon as they arrive.
The prices seen INCLUDE P&P 1st class and they'll be posted within 24 hours of purchase.
